Brittany L.

Owner & Lead Doula

I'm Brittany Lynch, owner & lead doula at The Doula Tree! I founded this agency in 2016 following the birth of my daughter, Charlie, which left me feeling overwhelmed & underprepared. It was here that a realized the transformative impact birth could leave on a woman (good & bad)!

I believe 3 significant factors will impact your birth experience including; good prenatal education, partner preparation & the confidence to birth your baby in your way. So, I make it my mission to tick all 3 of those boxes for you during our time together. I think what makes me unique, is my ability to support births in all different settings, with all different providers and all different plans. But what always stays true, is that I really do care about your birth outcome and how you feel during your experience. What I know for sure, is that birth unfolds the best when we leave it be - which is why I believe strongly in a mother-led, physiological birth whenever possible.

So, if you're looking for someone to guide you into motherhood, truly believe in your birth plan & care for you in the postpartum; I might be your girl.

Special Skills: Brittany is a childbirth educator and facilitates all of our virtual and in-person prenatal classes. When it comes to babies, she is a baby wearing guru & cloth diaper expert!

Cass

Fertility Consultant & Postpartum Doula

As a nutritionist and fertility doula, I am the emotional support friend by your side during the highs and lows involved in trying to conceive. While working with me, we utilize basal body temperature and natural modalities to achieve a pregnancy, before looking into your medical options. I work alongside your medical team to effectively create full spectrum support.

The relationship with your fertility consultant becomes very personal. I am honoured to be apart of your journey and take the role very seriously. I will be your biggest cheerleader, a shoulder to cry on, and a voice of reason.

I also work with women who are looking for natural birth control options or who would like to understand their bodies better through fertility awareness and cycle tracking.

Outside of work you can find me walking the trails with my daughter, thrifting and listening to local bands.

Special Skills: Cass is one of our BEST postpartum doula's. She has experience working with newborns, toddlers & twins.

Alice

Birth & Postpartum Doula

Hi, I'm Alice and I'm a mom of three, dog obsessed, music loving, labour & postpartum doula.

My husband and I moved from Wales, U.K in 2013 and have built a beautiful life here in Oxford County. My love of the birthing world came while creating my own family, as it showed me just how valuable it is to be prepared for birth and have good support around you. Whether you birth in a hospital with an OB or at home with midwives, I want women to take back control of their pregnancies and birth experiences.

When it comes to your postpartum needs - I'm the doula for you! I want to normalize wanting more help, and I've made it my personal mission to remind mothers that their needs matter too! I love making nourishing foods for new moms & their families.

When I'm not snuggling all the babies, you'll find me walking the trails with my four legged friends, in my kitchen baking, cooking and singing, learning how to care for my disabled son, volunteering with the Canadian Blood Services, playing my ukulele and spending time with my favourite people.

Special Skills: Alice cooks & delivers pre-made food for mothers & families. This service can be purchased separately from postpartum care.

Christina

Birth & Postpartum Doula

Hi, I'm Christina! I'm a birth, postpartum doula and birth photographer that serves Oxford County & surrounding areas.

Since becoming a doula, I have come to realize just how important it is that the MOTHERS wellbeing is the foundation of an empowering birth. When the parents feel educated, empowered, and encouraged from pregnancy to postpartum, that is when Mother-Baby truly thrive. I want to make sure you are trusting your body, and feel comfortable following your intuition.

I support home births, hospital births, planned cesarean births & births outside the system. My priority is making sure you are as comfortable as possible, feel safe, and feel confident in your decisions. I also want to make sure that your partner or support person is as involved as possible, and feels confident in the support that they are offering you in your journey to motherhood.

Outside of doula work I love photography, making crystal intention bracelets for friends and family, and being outside barefoot & soaking up the sun whenever possible.

I can't wait to get to know you and help you feel educated, empowered, and encouraged to have the best birth and/or postpartum possible!

Delanie

Birth & Postpartum Doula

Hey there, I'm Delanie, a passionate birth and postpartum doula!

I am a mom of two and married to my high school sweetheart in Oxford County. Before coming a doula, I owned a home daycare and studied Social Service Work.

Outside of the birth space I love spending time with my husband and our sons, reading and being in nature. Both of my boys were born on Tuesday afternoons which I’ve always found so unique.

We proudly spent a combined total of almost 5 years breastfeeding which means I have a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience to share!

I'm passionate about reclaiming the village we were always meant to have, supporting families in planning the birth of their dreams and helping you feel confident to birth your baby in your way.

If you think we may be a good fit, let’s connect!

Beth

Birth & Postpartum Doula

I knew I wanted to be part of the birth world from a young age. When I learned about what it meant to be a doula, to connect and educate with a mother prenatally, promote mother-led birthing, advocate for her during labor, encourage her through the toughest moments, and walk through the highs and lows postpartum, I knew it was meant for me. I'm a wife and aunty, lover of my family, exercise and nutrition guru, sucker for one-on-one connection and believer in Jesus. I believe in your birth plan, I care deeply about the outcome of your birth experience, and will be with you every step of the way. I want to guide you through the postpartum healing process and give you confidence as you enter motherhood. I can't wait to get to know you and find out if I am the right doula for you!

Special Skills: Beth has a line of healing bone broth soups that you can purchase seperately or in addition to doula services here:

Jenn

Birth & Postpartum Doula

My name is Jenn and I am the mother of four beautiful children. Becoming a doula was a dream of mine for many years. Having my first child at 23, I realized the sweet lady that came into my room while I was in labour - was indeed a doula. She grounded me when I was feeling overwhelmed and advocated for me when I didn’t have the answers. After that, I knew I was destined to help others the way she helped me. I started taking my training and quickly learned I was made for this role! Teaching, empowering and holding space for families during birth & postpartum is a gift. My passion is to help others in a holistic manner, to be inclusive of all ideas and walks of life.

Looking forward to connecting with you!
